Im Schnee | Snow

6 Uhr in Berlin aufgestanden, um 12 Uhr mittags schon auf der Piste. Ungewohnt und toll! Billigfliegern wie transavia sei Dank! Berlin-Tegel nach Innsbruck 1 h Flug. Es ‚fehlten‘ uns die 9+ Stunden, die man sonst im Auto sitzt, zur mentalen Vorbereitung ;-) aber als wir dann Skisachen an hatten, Ski ausgeliehen und das erste Mal den Skipass an den Sensor der Gondel hielten, waren wir auch ‚innerlich‘ im Schnee angekommen.

Übrigens eine interessante Selbstbeobachtung an mir: woran merkte ich heute (mal wieder), dass ich (zu?) häufig auf Dienstreise bin? Als ich am Flughafen ankam, war mir wie ‚Arbeit‘ – für die meisten Anderen ist der Ort ein Symbol für Urlaub.

6 am wake up in Berlin, at noon on the ski slope already. That is a completely new experience for a guy from Berlin. And a nice one – thanks to cheap airlines like transavia! Berlin-Tegel airport to Innsbruck airport only 1 hour flight time. All right, somehow we „missed“ the 9+ hours in the car to get „prepared“ for the ski holiday. But as soon as we were wearing ski clothes and shoes and pressed the skipass to the sensor of the ski lift we realized „Yes, it’s skiing time!“

Another interesting insight I had: How do you realize you do to much business trips? When arriving at the airport I felt like „work“ – for most other travellers the airport is a symbol for „holidays“.
